Adaption is key!

Genetics and phenotypes are one facet, but technology and progess have tipped the scales towards the ENVIRONMENT being the principal factor in adaption and evolution.  Perhaps this was mother nature’s intention all along; her innate wisdom to create symbiotic relationships between her creatures and their environment and the supreme intelligence of moving forward in life.
IICE looks here, in the environment, as the source for guidance. Halting progress is not the answer. Going back to the rudimentary ways of life is not the answer.

Adaption is the answer. Adaption has always been the answer, but adaption does not mean stopping technology but rather incorporating methods compatible to the symbiotic relationships found in nature into the technological creations. Adaption evolves life!

Technology is the very thing that is enabling the skills of creative minds to go where no man has gone before in research. Tuning into the environment develops ways of thinking outside the confines of antiquated science to forge new trails into the details that underline the relationships within living nature and technology; merging both into a symbiotic environment. IICE is a ground-breaking organization with this intention.

To investigate and understand these relationships in order to unearth the answers environments can provide. But for this to evolve, a clean slate of techniques must be applied. Ecology itself needs to participate, if only to expand our senses of observation. Now, there are many new devices available to study and expand the knowledge and develop the solutions. Optics like Hyper Raman spectroscopy for example can identify minute relationships within environments such as molecular interrelations, whether in an ecosystem or an animal or plant body. Intimate relationships such as those between fungi and algae and the molecular interstices they interact with and that have kept them thriving amidst massive environmental changes.

IICE is such a body, requiring only the passion to investigate and the thirst for knowledge to unlock mother nature’s secrets and solutions. The answers are all here. They always have been, since the beginning of time, we simply need to expand our focus and open our senses.
